Job summary

BlueScope in Spokane, WA is seeking a Production Operator to load and unload materials, monitor quality, and document material movement in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will follow all safety rules and assist with equipment changes while maintaining accurate records.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in a production setting; forklift and overhead crane experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume production environment.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
• Experience with shipping and material handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from containers, trucks, conveyors, racks or pallets.
• Monitor quality of material picked from lines and staged in yard.
• Document and track movement of material per SOPs.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices.
• Assist machine operators with die/raft changes as needed.
• Follow all safety rules and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
