Job summary

United Surgical Partners International (USPI), the country’s largest ASC platform, seeks a Surgery Center Administrator for Endoscopy Institute of Hawaii in Honolulu, HI. The Administrator will oversee operations, financial performance, quality initiatives, and physician relationships while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

The ideal candidate will have ASC leadership experience or hospital leadership with ASC exposure, plus 3+ years in senior healthcare management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Ambulatory Surgery Center leadership or hospital leadership with ASC exposure.
• Minimum of 3 years of senior administrative or healthcare management experience.
• Experience working with physicians and clinical leadership.
• Experience budgeting and achieving financial goals in healthcare leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily facility operations across administrative, clinical, and business functions.
• Serve as liaison between the Governing Board, Medical Staff, facility leadership, and USPI Home Office.
• Ensure regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards are met.
• Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets.
• Monitor financial performance and address operational risks.
• Oversee staffing, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Support physician relationships and credentialing processes.
• Manage vendor, service, and physician contracts.
• Support quality improvement and patient experience initiatives.
• Participate in operational reviews and facility performance reporting.
• Identify opportunities for service line development and operational improvement.
