Qualifications

• Michigan licenses or certifications: Asbestos Inspector, Asbestos Project Manager, Asbestos Air Monitoring Technician, NIOSH 582.
• Experience overseeing abatement contractors and regulatory compliance.
• Pass a HAZWOPER medical exam and drug test; valid driving record.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Asbestos abatement air monitoring and PCM analysis of air samples.
• Onsite surveys and sampling of asbestos-containing materials and other materials.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety plans and project guidance documents.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers and inspectors during project phases.
• Attend pre-construction meetings and assist with budget and payments as needed.
• Document work progress, track issues, and support cross-functional teams.
