Asbestos, Lead & Mold Field Tech 1
General Responsibilities:

Join our dynamic team in Austin, TX, as an Asbestos, Lead & Mold Field Technician, where you'll play a vital role in safeguarding our community's environment. This hands-on position involves conducting diverse environmental tests, operating advanced monitoring equipment, overseeing remediation projects, and delivering crucial data for comprehensive reports. If you're a detail-oriented individual with a passion for safety and a desire to make a tangible impact, this is your opportunity to thrive in a challenging and rewarding career.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Performs basic tests as directed using well-defined procedures.
  2. Assists in basic survey/measurement data collection.
  3. Helps operate and maintain remediation systems.
  4. Assists higher-level technicians on complex tasks.
  5. Participates in training and assumes increased responsibilities over time.
  6. Follows safety rules, participates in pre-task planning, and reports safety concerns.
  7. Maintains quality standards on all projects.
Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. 0-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent training.
  3. Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
  4. Ability to work safely on construction sites.
  5. Ability to work outdoors.
  6. Construction experience, ability to read blueprints, and work on active job sites among other trades.
Preferred Certifications:
  1. Asbestos licensure.
  2. Certification in relevant field.
  3. Bilingual/fluent in Spanish.
