Job summary

RA Holdings Group’s AIM Services seeks an Asbestos Abatement Laborer to join a full-time, year-round team serving military, industrial, and commercial projects in Virginia. You will perform removal, containment, and disposal of hazardous materials while following strict safety regulations and using PPE.

Responsibilities include setting up containment, transporting hazardous waste, and supporting demolition as needed across Hampton Roads.

Qualifications

• Background checks for military base access required.
• Real ID required.
• Vehicle and ability to travel to project sites within the 757 area.
• Strong awareness of safety procedures in construction environments.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform asbestos and lead abatement, including removal, containment, and proper disposal of hazardous materials on military, industrial, and commercial projects.
• Set up containment areas using plastic sheeting, negative air machines, and decontamination units.
• Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations when handling hazardous materials.
• Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) and respirators at all times on job sites.
• Assist with demolition and removal of contaminated building materials such as insulation, flooring, and piping.
• Transport, label, and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment within containment zones and surrounding areas.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Travel to various job sites across the Hampton Roads area as assigned (one project at a time).
