Qualifications

• A baccalaureate degree in environmental, fire protection, chemical, mechanical, petroleum, aeronautical, or materials engineering from an accredited college and one year of full-time satisfactory experience in environmental or fire protection engineering work.
• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in environmental, fire protection, chemical, mechanical, petroleum, aeronautical, or materials engineering technology and three years of full-time satisfactory experience in environmental or fire protection engineering work.
• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and a master's degree in environmental or fire protection engineering from an accredited college.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve asbestos project notifications and amendments.
• Conduct pre-abatement and active asbestos abatement inspections.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and gather measurements, diagrams, and photographs.
• Provide testimony at Environmental Control Board hearings and assist in emergency asbestos response tasks.

Baccalaureate degree in environmental, fire protection engineering technology with three years of full-time experience
