Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking an Area Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) in the Elko/Sparks, NV region. The role supports our AS350 airframe maintenance to ensure safe, timely patient transport and transport services.

The candidate must have 3 years turbine-powered helicopter experience, hold a valid A&P license, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of FAA rules. A flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years turbine powered helicopter experience.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Valid State issued Driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
• EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, update equipment tracking log, place replacement requests and document part expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information; adhere to policies and procedures; comply with company information security standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Communicate effectively to coordinate efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and other AMTs and operations team.
