Job Description

Under direct supervision, the purpose of the position is to provide support at athletic events and activities by completing tasks such as selling tickets, gathering tickets, patrolling areas, directing attendees, and other duties to help events run smoothly. Essential functions as outlined herein are performed according to the needs of the assigned event leader or the Athletics and Activities Director. Performs related work as directed.

Reports to: Athletics and Activities Director

Qualifications
  • Ability to fulfill the dexterity and physical requirements of the work, and effectively attend to the needs of individuals at a variety of ages; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Additional hours training preferred.
Essential Functions
  • Complete assigned tasks related to games or activities including, but not limited to, selling tickets, collecting tickets, patrolling areas, directing individuals to event locations, answering questions related to the event.
  • Assist with appropriate supervision of students.
  • Help monitor that event participants and attendees follow district rules and regulations and notify supervisor if they are not.
  • Keep accurate count of funds related to duties of this position.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Terms of Employment

This position pays by the event and the pay varies depending on the duties that are assigned per event. Please contact the Athletic and Activities Administrative Assistant for additional details.

Evaluation

Performance of duties will be evaluated at least annually in accordance with Aztec School Board Policy.

Physical Rating Level

This position will require the employee to function at a “Medium” physical capacity as defined by Worker’s Compensation Statutes. “Medium” physical capacity indicates the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally or up to 25 pounds frequently.
