Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, environmental science, or related field (or 1–3 years field experience)
• Knowledge of California wildlife and/or plant species
• Valid driver’s license and active auto liability insurance by start date

Responsibilities

• Conduct field studies/surveys including vegetation mapping, habitat characterizations, and surveys for special-status species
• Record observations using Dudek’s electronic platform for reporting
• Travel to project sites across California and work in varying outdoor conditions
• Maintain safety protocols and work both independently and in teams
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
