Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a perfusionist to assist physicians by delivering perfusion services during cardiac, vascular, ECMO, and other surgical cases. The role reports to the Manager-Perfusion Services and requires licensure and CCP certification.

Provisional licensure may be accepted for new grads with CCP/ABCP eligibility and a plan to obtain licensure within 1 year. The position offers benefits as part of Mercy's comprehensive package, with a focus on patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must hold a license as an LCP in the applicable state.
• CCP certification required; ABCP certified or eligible.
• New graduate perfusionists acceptable; some experience preferred.
• Provisional licensure accepted for new graduates; LCP and CCP must be obtained within 1 year of employment date.

Responsibilities

• Provide perfusion services during cardiac, vascular, ECMO, and other surgical cases.
• Assist physicians and report to Manager-Perfusion Services.
• Perform duties consistent with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards.

Licensed Clinical Perfusionist (LCP) license

Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP)
