Job summary

Southeast Connections, LLC is seeking an As-Built Project Coordinator to document final construction changes and generate field-verified as-built records for project closeout.

You will verify revisions with field teams, manage daily reports, and support timely invoicing with accurate drawings. Candidates should have strong Excel skills, project coordination experience, and a willingness to work in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2+ years of underground construction experience preferred, but not required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of successful project management practices preferred, but not required.
• Experience in the Natural Gas Industry preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review field daily reports, identify billable items and update tracking sheets.
• Prepare/update As-Built drawing of newly installed underground gas facilities as the project is constructed.
• Field-verify the accuracy of daily reports.
• Review and monitor project materials.
• Submit accurate As-Built drawings to support weekly invoice.
• Balance project totals and utilized materials.

The As-Built Project Coordinator is responsible for managing and documenting all final construction changes by creating accurate, field verified as-built records for project closeout. Depending on customer requirements, these records are verified through manual field measurement or by utilizing GPS data collection tools and software. This role serves as a key link between field teams and project management, tracking revisions, redlines, and inspector notes. By ensuring accuracy and compliance, the coordinator helps streamline future maintenance and supports long-term building operations.

Essential Functions:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Review field daily reports, identify billable items being tracked and update all tracking sheet(s).
• Prepare/update As-Built drawing of newly installed underground gas facilities as project is constructed.
• Field-verify the accuracy of daily reports.
• Review and monitor project materials.
• Submit accurate As-Built drawing to support weekly invoice.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2+ years of underground construction experience, preferred, but not required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee is often required to stand, walk, and use hands/fingers.

• Able and willing to work long hours including day, night, and weekend shifts as needed, and work outside of normal hours.
• Able to walk, lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Able to climb a minimum of 5 rungs of an extension ladder.
• Ability to travel to project sites that are typically within a 4-hour radius of the home office.
• Able to work in outside environments being subjected to weather changes, noise, vibrations, and job hazards.
