Job summary

GW Hospital in Washington, DC seeks a Physical Therapist for the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU). You will deliver PT services per licensure, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support discharge planning. The ARU is a 16-bed CARF-accredited inpatient rehab unit; eligible for a $3,000 relocation bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy and DC licensure required.
• Master’s degree in physical therapy preferred.
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation setting required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy services in accordance with licensure, certification, training and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the functional mobility and rehabilitation expert and support interdisciplinary discharge planning.
• Collaborate with providers, nurses and allied staff to enhance patient recovery and outcomes.
