• Major Function: Management of Student Behavior — establish rules and monitor behavior.
• Major Function: Instructional Presentation — present lessons with clear objectives and explanations.
• Major Function: Instructional Monitoring of Student Performance — check student progress.
• Major Function: Instructional Feedback — provide timely feedback on in-class and out-of-class work.
• Major Function: Facilitating Instruction — align objectives with curricular goals and use available resources.
