Job summary

The State of Florida seeks a Program Manager with expertise in arts grants and program administration. The role focuses on managing cultural grants, evaluating applications, coordinating panels, and overseeing grant contracts to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

Responsibilities include auditing grantees, scheduling site visits, and contributing to the strategic plan while collaborating with diverse teams across the Department of State.

Qualifications

• Four years of professional experience in teaching or coordinating programs or projects in an arts related field or a four-year degree with related focus.
• Experience with grant administration.
• Must submit a current resume and cover letter addressing required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage grants awarded by the agency for cultural programs in Florida.
• Process and review applications; select panelists and coordinate panel meetings; manage grant contracts.
• Conduct annual desk audits of selected grantees and schedule site visits when possible.
• Collaborate with staff to align with the DAC strategic plan and assist in grants training webinars.
• Perform other duties as required.
