Job summary

NJPAC's Arts Education department in Newark seeks a Manager of Residencies & School Partnerships to renew and grow school partnerships, match schools with Teaching Artists, and shepherd residencies from initial conversation to culminating experiences.

The role requires strong relationship-building and organization, plus the ability to coordinate TA onboarding, scheduling, and data management across teams in support of high-quality arts education programs.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in arts education program management.
• Two or more years of experience working in or with schools; familiarity with scheduling and budgeting.
• Preferably a bachelor's degree in the arts, arts education or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Residency and Teaching Artist management: recruit, match and assign TAs to residencies based on art form, grade level, and partner goals.
• Coordinate day-to-day TA contacts, field questions, troubleshoot scheduling issues, and provide ongoing support.
• Onboard TAs to sites with orientation on policies, schedules and residency goals.
• Facilitate planning meetings between TAs and teachers to align residencies with standards.
• Maintain knowledge of residency curricula and ensure program learning goals.
• Attend residencies and support events, tabling and showcases.
