Job summary

CU Boulder Advancement invites applications for an Assistant Director of Development to join the Music, Arts, Performing Arts, and Education team. Under the guidance of the Senior Director of Development, you will coordinate and implement development activities and aspire to become an expert-level fundraiser.

This entry- to mid-level role supports donor engagement and requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus 1+ years in fundraising.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of professional, job-related fundraising experience.
• Experience in higher education or nonprofit fundraising is preferred.
• Knowledge of major gift solicitation techniques is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of up to 100 individual prospects capable of $5,000+ gifts.
• Collaborate with Senior Director to set annual development goals and track progress.
• Plan donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship with partners across campus.
• Travel to meet with donors and document strategies and outcomes.
