Job description

Remote | Full-Time (150 hours per month) £23,000 - £33,000 per annum | OR | Part-Time £13 - £21 per hour | Depending on experience

Noxcrew is an independent Minecraft-based game design studio making content for the Minecraft Marketplace, running a Live-Ops Multiplayer Experience, and a monthly streamed competitive event for popular content creators. Noxcrew are passionate about the Minecraft community, the game itself, video games in general, and game design.

We’re looking for a new Artist for Noxcrew’s Marketplace team to bring our projects to life! You’ll work directly with our team of designers and developers to concept and create 2D and 3D assets for our diverse range of games.

Responsibilities:

Work with the design team to determine a scope of work for each project

Work with level designers to add textures to their palettes and achieve the envisioned aesthetic

Create artwork concepts for characters and models in our games

Create models, textures, and animations

Actively research and improve art styles for the target audience

Work with the Marketing Manager to create eye-catching marketing graphics for our games

Ideal Experience/Skills:

Mastery of 3D Model creation and texturing for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition

In-depth experience with a sufficient pixel editing software (Photoshop, Aseprite, Blockbench)

Significant experience with Blockbench, or other 3D modeling software

Past experience communicating ideas through sketches, photobashing, and/or moodboards
