Job summary

Central Market in Texas is seeking a Production Specialist with availability to include days, evenings, and weekends to handle the freshest ingredients and assist in daily bakery/production tasks.

You will work under direct supervision, applying basic and some advanced skills in procedures, techniques, tools and materials; duties include mixing, shaping, baking, wrapping and stocking products, while maintaining quality, sanitation and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years to 5 years of related production experience.
• Experience with commercial production is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mixing, shaping, baking, wrapping and stocking products.
• Ensures quality control of all product before sending to sales floor.
• Maintains sanitation in the department.
• Maintains organization of back storage, freezer, walk-in and production area.
• Reads and executes daily production list; calculates weights and volumes.
• Provides customer service by answering questions and taking orders.
• Assists in monitoring product quality and shrink.
• Orders and receives products and supplies.
• Maintains transfer records.
• Preps, wraps, prices, sells and stocks products continuously.
• Demos or prepares customer samples for self-serve.
• Provides superb customer service.
• Uses suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales.
