The Blue Loon in New London, NH is seeking an experienced, full-time Baker to join our artisan bakery cafe. The role offers 32–40 hours per week with weekend availability and early-morning or overnight shifts as production requires.

We specialize in breads, pastries, cookies, muffins, scones, and other scratch-made baked goods and do not offer custom cakes. You’ll help produce daily offerings in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a collaborative team.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in producing breads, pastries, cookies, muffins and other scratch-made baked goods.
• Ability to read and follow recipes accurately and use baker's percentages.
• Strong work ethic, able to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to obtain ServSafe certification is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and bake a variety of artisan breads, pastries, cookies, muffins, bars and other scratch-made items.
• Scale, mix, shape, bake and finish products with consistency and accuracy.
• Read and follow recipes using weights, percentages and production schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe workspace; monitor ingredients and inventory needs.
• Work efficiently to meet production goals without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with bakery and café teams to ensure products are ready for service.
• Pitch in wherever needed to support the team and a successful day.
