The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University invites applications for a full-time (0.75 FTE) Baker. This position supports residential dining, catering, and retail programs by baking high-quality goods and delivering friendly customer service.

Reporting to the Director of Bakery Operations, the Baker will design and test recipes, perform quality checks, and ensure presentation through icing, decorations and finishes while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; baking training preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred and must be completed within one year.
• Strong attention to detail and quality in baking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to operate commercial bakery equipment.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare a variety of breads and desserts for residential dining, catering, and retail.
• Monitor ingredient ratios and perform quality checks.
• Display, serve, and store baked goods to maintain freshness.
• Coordinate with bakers and kitchen staff for smooth workflows.
• Maintain production records and accurate documentation.
• Assist with customer orders and provide friendly service.
