Job summary

The Bergaila Companies are seeking an Artificial Lift Technician in Dilley, TX. This contract-to-perm opportunity focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting artificial lift systems to keep oil and gas production at peak efficiency.

You will install, maintain, and repair ESPs, rod pumps, and similar equipment, while ensuring safety protocols and accurate documentation. Local travel and overtime may be required.

• Collaborate with field teams and management for seamless operations

Required Skills:

• Proven experience with artificial lift systems, including ESPs, rod pumps, or similar equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of oilfield safety procedures and equipment standards
• Ability to operate hand and power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Nice to Have Skills:

• Familiarity with SCADA systems and controls
• Experience working with automation and monitoring software
• Previous experience in a contract-to-perm role

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus
• 2+ years of relevant field experience in artificial lift system maintenance or operation

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work a 5/2 schedule, with possible overtime as needed
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willingness to travel locally within Dilley, TX, and surrounding areas
