Job summary

A leading entertainment company is looking for an AI/ML Ops Engineer to enhance their AI Engineering team in Seattle, WA. The role revolves around managing AI platforms aimed at optimizing guest experiences and includes responsibilities like model deployment, performance monitoring, and collaboration across technical teams. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Responsibilities

  • Own operational workflows for ML model deployment and updates.
  • Monitor model performance KPIs including latency and error rates.
  • Build dashboards for platform performance and cost management.

One of the nation’s largest entertainment companies is searching for an AI/ML Ops Engineer to join their AI Engineering team on a hybrid basis in Seattle, WA. In this high-impact role, you will be at the center of building, monitoring, and optimizing the Gen AI platform that drives interactive experiences, cutting-edge operations, and creative content across multiple business units. This exciting opportunity to join one of the country's most beloved brands begins as an 18-month W2 contract, offering full-time hours, a hybrid schedule, competitive benefits, and the potential for long-term extension and/or conversion to permanent employment in a collaborative environment focused on technical innovation, safety, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

  • Own operational workflows for deploying, updating, and versioning ML models across cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS)
  • Monitor and report model performance KPIs including latency, error rates, throughput, and inference quality
  • Analyze model drift, degradation, and anomalies, escalating to engineering teams when necessary
  • Oversee knowledge base pipeline health, chunking, and refresh cycles in AI platforms
  • Document and maintain comprehensive inventory of models and agents, ensuring accuracy across environments
  • Coordinate model evaluation cycles with Responsible AI and Core Engineering teams
  • Maintain agent (AutoGen, MCP) health and reliability, tracking execution metrics and supporting configuration management
  • Build out dashboards for platform performance, adoption, and cost management, delivering insights for stakeholders and executives
  • Track and optimize AI/ML cloud spend, providing actionable cost analysis and allocation for application teams
  • Support release management processes, tracking deployment health and collaborating across QA, performance, and infrastructure teams
  • Ensure Responsible AI standards by monitoring guardrails, hallucination detection, and compliance reporting
  • Serve as the operational hub for AI API consumers, supporting audit requests and compliance documentation

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required
  • Hands-on experience with Gen AI/LLM platforms (Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock)
  • Familiarity with AI agent architectures (AutoGen, LangChain, MCP servers) and operational reliability
  • Solid understanding of MLOps lifecycle, including model registry, version management, and deployment best practices
  • Experience with vector databases, chunking, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation operations
  • Proficiency with API management platforms such as APIGEE, tracking API gateway usage and trends
  • Working knowledge of Responsible AI principles, including bias, hallucination, safety triggers, and guardrails
  • Strong reporting and dashboarding skills (KPIs, model and agent metrics, spend reports)
  • Prior experience supporting platform engineering, release operations, and technical documentation
  • Exposure to ML pipeline tools (e.g., Kubeflow, MLflow, Vertex AI Pipelines) and ITIL or operational frameworks a plus
  • Ability to coordinate across engineering, infrastructure, finance, and security teams in a fast-paced environment
