Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking an Artifactory Implementation Engineer to manage the JFrog Artifactory platform, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and onboarding of client use cases in an enterprise setting.

The role requires experience with Xray, Distribution/Edge, Agile/Scrum, Jira/user stories, and strong scripting (Python/ Groovy) along with basic Linux and REST API knowledge. GoLang is a nice-to-have.

Qualifications

• 2 years knowledge of JFrog products like Xray and Distribution/Edge.
• Experience with administration and client onboarding with Artifactory at enterprise scale (preferred), or with NexusPro.
• Experience with Git/Subversion, CI/CD engines (Jenkins/Cloud Bees, uBuild, Electric Flow), deployment tools (RLM, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, BladeLogic), and JIRA/Rally.
• Basic Linux admin skills (Red Hat Enterprise).
• Basic shell scripting and/or Python scripting skills.
• Basic REST API knowledge and JFrog REST API/JFrog CLI familiarity.
• Basic DBA knowledge (Oracle).
• Experience packaging and deploying docker container images.
• Groovy/Python or other advanced scripting languages.
• Experience managing Jenkins CI/CD build platform.

Responsibilities

• Admin, install, configure and maintain the JFrog Artifactory platform and support client onboarding for use cases.
• Work with CI/CD and deployment teams to streamline software delivery pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure enterprise-scale Artifactory adoption and performance.
