Artifact Coffee, the sister restaurant to Spike Gjerde's James Beard Award-winning Woodberry Kitchen in Baltimore, is seeking Line Cooks who are passionate about local and sustainably sourced food. If you have the skills, persona, and interest in supporting Chesapeake region growers, we want to hear from you.

Our mission is to serve food and drinks that fuel the body and soul, sourcing exclusively from the Chesapeake watershed and using only direct trade coffee and teas. Respect for these principles is essential for all team members.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Adhering to company policies and protocols, with an open kitchen in full view of guests.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and stocked line.
  • Following recipes and techniques to produce consistent, high-quality food.
  • Exhibiting a warm, outgoing persona with a strong interest in excellent service and teamwork.
  • Managing high-volume multitasking with urgency.
  • Sharing a passion for specialty coffee and local, organic, responsibly sourced food.
  • Continuing to learn about food and culinary practices.
