Job summary

Knife River - South is seeking dependable Articulated Truck Drivers in Bryan, TX to support unloading trains and transporting materials at our facility. The role includes operating articulated off-road dump trucks, assisting with railroad track maintenance, and supporting overall plant operations.

Night shifts may be required, with a typical Monday–Friday schedule and some Saturdays. The ideal candidate has experience with heavy equipment, a strong safety mindset, and the flexibility to adapt to

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment or similar machinery.
• Experience in construction/mining/quarry environments preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime and flexible hours (daytime/nighttime).
• Must be able to work outside in all seasons.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate articulated off-road dump trucks to transport and unload materials.
• Assist with train unloading operations for efficient handling of materials.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and report issues.
• Maintain areas around railroad tracks with loaders and other equipment.
• Inspect railroad tracks, measure gauge and grease curves.
• Operate front-end loaders and provide relief coverage as needed.
• Assist with general duties at the asphalt plant and material handling.
• Communicate with supervisors and team to coordinate daily operations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety policies and procedures; perform additional duties as assigned.
