Qualifications

Full-Time | Travel Required | Salary Commensurate with Experience

Inspire Healing Through Art and Expression

High Focus Centers, a trusted leader in behavioral healthcare, is seeking a full-time Art Therapist to join our expanding team in the Greater Philadelphia region. This position supports multiple outpatient location and requires regular travel between sites.

High Focus Centers has a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality outpatient care in southeastern Pennsylvania through its subsidiary programs: Rehab After Work, The Light Program, and Seeds of Hope. With a focus on individualized treatment plans, our programs serve adults and adolescents struggling with mental health, substance use, and eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate individual and group art therapy sessions using expressive and trauma-informed approaches
  • Prepare materials and therapeutic environments for sessions
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to support treatment goals in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Evaluate clients’ emotional and behavioral needs and contribute to treatment planning
  • Complete documentation in a timely and collaborative manner with primary therapists
  • Participate in team meetings and clinical case reviews to discuss client progress
  • Attend required trainings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision
  • Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and ethical environment, including crisis intervention when necessary
  • Travel between locations in Philadelphia and Greater Philadelphia.
  • Support quality assurance efforts and help ensure successful program outcomes
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical excellence

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Art Therapy required
  • ATR or ATR-BC certification required
  • LPC or LCSW preferred, but not required
  • Certification in Trauma-Informed Art Therapy or Expressive Arts Therapy preferred
  • Strong understanding of mental health, substance use, eating disorders, and co-occurring conditions
  • Experience with expressive arts interventions across diverse populations
  • Ability to travel between program sites in the Greater Philadelphia region
