• To maintain the neatness and proper care of the classroom, equipment and materials
• To keep essential records necessary for the efficient operation of the school
• To keep abreast of recent developments in education and to show evidence of continuing professional growth
• To contribute to the success of the school by maintaining interest in and developing knowledge of the total school program
• To participate in the decision-making process of the school, particularly those decisions related to curriculum content or change
• To maintain a cooperative attitude toward all school personnel
• To serve as a public relations agent for the school and the school system
• To cooperate with approved community groups in matters related to the welfare of the students
• To perform such duties as are necessary for the efficient and successful operation of the school system
• To perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or his/her designee
• Make reports to the principal relative to student injuries, hazardous or dangerous conditions prevailing where students are engaged in activities known or suspected child abuse, and other areas that normally concern the teacher and school officials
