Fusion Academy, a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 5–12, seeks an Art Teacher in New York. The role offers flexible scheduling, creative lesson design, and collaboration with passionate colleagues to personalize education academically, socially, and emotionally.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree with ability to teach diverse art courses; experience with learners with differences; mentoring and strong communication skills.

As an Art Teacher, you’ll have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues. What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of Art courses (Studio Art, Illustration, Painting, Portfolio Development, Graphic & Fashion Design, Drawing, Photography, Digital Media, Animation, Art History, and Electives), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social‑emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student‑centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem‑solve as needed.

We're for a teacher with a variety of artistic abilities, willing and able to teach digital art, cooking, and painting, and other creative arts.
