Job summary

Dutchess BOCES in New York seeks an Art Teacher to deliver district approved curriculum in visual arts, plan lessons, document student progress, and provide a safe and engaging learning environment for middle and high school students.

Qualifications

• State Certification as an Art Teacher or as required for position.
• Masters Degree preferred.
• Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level and/or subject is a plus.

Qualifications, EXPERIENCE AND Competencies

• State Certification as an Art Teacher or as required for position.
• Masters Degree preferred.

Knowledge, Skills AND ABILITIES DUTIES AND Responsibilities

• Knowledge of current art instructional teaching methods and educational pedagogy, as well as differentiates instruction based upon student learning styles.

SALARY

$64,868 - $85,536 approximate (BOCES Faculty Association contract)
