Job description

Join the Skyuka Hall Team | Exceptional Educators Wanted

Skyuka Hall is seeking outstanding educators to join our growing school community as we continue to expand our innovative programming and prepare for an exciting new chapter in our new campus.

Skyuka Hall is a mission‑driven independent school dedicated to serving students with learning differences, including dyslexia, ADHD, executive functioning challenges, anxiety, and other unique learning profiles. Our school was intentionally designed to meet the needs of learners who benefit from a differentiated, relationship‑centered, and highly individualized educational experience.

We are not a traditional school model. Skyuka Hall represents a progressive and student‑centered approach to education that recognizes the importance of meeting students where they are while maintaining meaningful academic expectations, fostering independence, and building confidence as learners.

Our educational philosophy is rooted in evidence‑informed instructional practices, multisensory learning, experiential education, executive functioning support, and whole‑child development. We believe students thrive when they are deeply known, authentically supported, appropriately challenged, and provided with learning environments that honor their individual strengths, needs, and learning styles.

We seek educators who understand that successful teaching extends far beyond content delivery. Ideal candidates will possess the ability to cultivate meaningful relationships with students and families, establish classrooms grounded in trust, structure, and belonging, and utilize innovative instructional strategies that promote engagement, skill development, and academic growth.

The ideal Skyuka Hall educator will demonstrate:
  • A strong understanding of differentiated instruction and responsive teaching practices
  • Experience supporting students with diverse learning profiles
  • A commitment to executive functioning development, social‑emotional growth, and character education
  • The ability to design engaging, multisensory, hands‑on learning experiences
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with colleagues and families
  • A growth mindset, professional flexibility, and creative problem‑solving
  • A deep belief in the potential of every learner

Skyuka Hall values educators who see student differences as strengths to be leveraged rather than barriers to be overcome. Our faculty are collaborative, mission‑aligned professionals committed to reimagining what education can look like for students who deserve a model built with them in mind.

As we enter a transformative season of growth, including our transition to a beautiful new campus, this is an extraordinary opportunity to join a school community at the forefront of innovative education for students with learning differences.

Candidates who are passionate about educational innovation, individualized learning, and making a lasting impact in the lives of students and families are encouraged to apply.
