Blick Art Materials is seeking a part-time Retail Store Sales Associate in Kansas City to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales through product knowledge and friendly assistance.

You will assist at the Custom Services desk, support merchandise setup, and maintain visual standards while following store policies. The role requires teamwork, good communication, and flexibility for day/evening shifts and weekends, with physical duties including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Working knowledge of traditional fine art mediums preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Consistently delivers superior customer service by combining sales, product knowledge, and other skills training to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Completes and utilizes Blick Onboarding Training, Blick Sales Training, Preferred Customer Program, Special Orders, and Custom Services Training from NDS.
• Provide customer service at the Custom Services desk including making appointments for customers, consulting on Custom Services projects, taking orders, and delivering completed orders in store.
• Displays an energetic and positive attitude with all customer interactions.
• Assist in the coordination of merchandise set-ups, maintains visual standards, and supports store management in execution of standards.
• Follows directions and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Reports low stock levels, inventory discrepancies, and customer product requests to management.
