Job summary

Lewis & Clark College is seeking an Art Studio & Lab Assistant for Fall 2026. This part-time role supports the Art department by cleaning studios, setting up equipment, preparing supplies, and monitoring safety in the photography lab.

Responsibilities include documenting artwork, assisting with in-class setup, and supporting staff with equipment checks. Preference given to art majors/minors enrolled in classes. Work-study is required; pay is $16.80 per hour; schedule TBD.

Qualifications

• Resume and cover letter uploaded.
• Prior art experience preferred; photography lab experience required for the photography lab.

Responsibilities

• Clean studios/labs.
• Set up and take down equipment.
• Prepare supplies for in-class use.
• Document artwork on display.
• Serve as safety monitors in work areas.
• Carry out tasks assigned by supervisor or faculty.
• Art equipment checking and return support tech.
