Job summary

The College of New Jersey is seeking a Student Studio Technician to assist in the Art & Interactive Multimedia - Art & Art History studios. Work hours are 2–6 per week, with pay at $16.00 per hour.

The term runs from 8/22/26 to 5/29/27, with opportunities for more hours depending on studio needs and class schedules. Responsibilities include helping maintain and safely operate the sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, or book arts studios.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated reliability in class
• Familiarity with studio equipment or processes
• Cooperative and positive attitude with eagerness to learn about the studios in greater depth

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and safe use of the studios
• Perform daily cleaning and organization of the space
• Be prepared to answer questions from fellow students about studio use
• Ensure everyone using the studios has proper permission and training
