Job summary

Blick Art Materials is seeking a Retail Store Sales Associate in Illinois to deliver superior customer service, apply product knowledge, and support merchandising and POS operations. You will participate in Blick's training programs, assist at the Custom Services desk, and help maintain stock, pricing, and loss prevention per policy.

The role emphasizes a positive attitude, teamwork, and flexibility to meet store needs, including varied schedules and strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Consistently delivers superior customer service by combining sales, product knowledge, and other skills training to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Completes and utilizes programs: Blick Onboarding Training, Blick Sales Training, Preferred Customer Program, Special Orders, and Custom Services Training from NDS.
• Provide customer service at the Custom Services desk including making appointments for customers, consulting on Custom Services projects, taking orders, and delivering completed orders.
• Displays an energetic and positive attitude with all customer interactions.
• Assist in coordination of merchandise set-ups, maintains visual standards, and implements store directives.
• Follows directions and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Reports low stock levels, inventory discrepancies, and customer product requests to management.
