Requirements:

• Associate degree or higher (required)

As a Dental Hygienist, you will be providing our diverse community with essential dental care, such as:

• Checking gums and teeth for oral abnormalities
• Taking and developing dental x-rays
• Educating patients on oral hygiene
• Developing care plans for maintaining good dental hygiene
• Smoothing and polishing metal restorations
• Applying fluoride treatments and sealants
• Administering local anesthetic
• Removing stains and plaque
• Placing fillings, temporary restorations, and periodontal dressings
