The Student Lab Assistant [Art] I on-campus work-study role supports the FABLAB at Columbian College of Arts and Sciences. The student will perform basic lab duties, help maintain supplies and assist with projects in the lab in a safe educational setting.

Preferred familiarity with Adobe Suite and fabrication tools; experience with 3D printers or related equipment is a plus. Hours cover standard business hours with some after-hours and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• This is an entry level position; little to no experience required, all training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic laboratory duties and maintain supplies/inventory.
• Assist in specific projects in the FABLAB.
• Clean equipment and monitor lab usage.
• Special projects or other duties may be assigned related to departmental needs.
