Job summary

Tarleton State University invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor in Art History in the Department of Visual Arts and Design. This part-time, temporary role supports growing enrollment at Stephenville and Fort Worth campuses and online. Instructors may teach up to six semester credit hours, hold office hours, and assist students.

Positions are for the 2025-2026 academic year. Required: Master's in Art History with 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline and excellent English

Qualifications

• Earned master's degree in Art History from an accredited university.
• Minimum 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lectures, seminars, and/or laboratory offerings to undergraduate and/or graduate students.
• Develop course syllabi, select instructional materials, and design assessments such as exams, quizzes, papers, etc.
