Job summary

Berggruen Gallery is seeking a full-time Marketing Associate to shape and steward the gallery's voice across all platforms, guiding strategy and cultivating engagement with collectors and institutions.

The role requires 2–3 years of dedicated experience in the arts marketing space and a keen eye for editorial content, with responsibilities spanning calendar management, social media, press materials, and digital assets.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in marketing and communications within the arts.
• Fluency with Artlogic, Private Views, and related digital platforms preferred.
• Exceptional writing and editorial judgment, with a strong sensitivity to tone and audience.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities with discretion and precision.
• Self-motivated and collaborative, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly marketing meetings, set priorities and track metrics.
• Develop and maintain a marketing calendar and multi-channel campaigns.
• Expand gallery presence across social media (Instagram, Meta, LinkedIn, Eventbrite).
• Produce and oversee press releases, artist bios, and gallery content with cohesive narrative.
• Manage print and digital advertising placements for visibility and quality.
• Oversee the gallery website with Directors for accuracy and UX.
• Monitor Google Analytics and report traffic insights.
• Maintain brand consistency across materials and channels.
• Coordinate online sales platforms like 1stDibs and Artnet.
• Maintain digital asset and image management systems.
• Coordinate exhibition materials and timelines, including photography.
