Job summary

21c Museum Hotels is seeking a competent housekeeper to clean guest rooms and public areas to our high standards. You will restock amenities, remake beds with fresh linen, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment throughout the property.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, windows, and fixtures, lifting and moving items, and assisting other teams as needed. A background check is required and weekend/holiday work is expected.

Qualifications

• Must understand and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Clean and professional appearance.
• Must pass a background check.
• Physical ability to maneuver maid cart up to 50lbs and perform daily movements.

Responsibilities

• Cleans guest rooms and public areas to established standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Restocks towels, amenities, literature and supplies in rooms.
• Cleans floors, windows, fixtures and surfaces; dusts and polishes furniture.
• Remakes beds with fresh linen and checks for cleanliness under bed and around mattress.
• Cleans patios/balconies and reports equipment issues to management.
• Maintains a friendly, cheerful demeanor and supports other departments as needed.
