The Art Institute of Chicago is seeking an RLC Facilitator to lead family-friendly artmaking experiences in the Ryan Learning Center. The role focuses on welcoming activities, space maintenance, and coordinating staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operations.

As a part-time position, you will typically work 2–3 shifts per week, supporting staff with program development, and collaborating across departments to deliver accessible learning experiences for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience working with students, children, or families; and/or in museums or informal education settings preferred.
• Emerging knowledge of early learning and curriculum design for multigenerational programs; and assessment, documentation, evaluation methods.

Responsabilités

• Daily maintenance, opening/closing procedures, and guidance for engagements.
• Support for Art Exchange installations and related galleries.
• Coordinate staff responsibilities and administrative needs.
• Contribute to development of artmaking experiences and programs.
