Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Art Education is required.
• Two years of K-12 teaching experience required.
• Experience teaching college/university courses in art education preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in areas such as early childhood education; design education; new media/digital arts education; AI pedagogy; art museum education; community-based art education.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in Art Education.
• Engage in teaching and service activities.
• Supervise interns and oversee community arts programming.
• Engage in advising, capstone, and research projects.
• Represent the division on School of Art committees and participate in college service.
