21c Museum Hotel in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a part-time Restaurant Runner to help deliver an exceptional dining experience. You will support servers, transport food, and maintain service area.

The role requires flexibility to work nights and weekends, punctuality, good English communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Responsible, dependable, and punctual with a clean and professional appearance.
• Must pass a background check.
• Physical ability to carry a full-service tray, stand, and walk for long periods, and lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to dining room tables in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist servers with preparation of tables, service stations, and coffee stations.
• Communicate effectively between the kitchen and servers regarding the status of each table and food delivery.
• Support the team by clearing tables and performing side work as needed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly appearance of the restaurant service area.
• Polish silverware and complete all sidework as outlined in the manual.
• Exhibit strong food knowledge, including menu descriptions for the bar and dining room.
• Follow all proper sanitation guidelines and maintain a positive attitude with co-workers and guests.
• Assist supervisors and chefs with any assigned tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
