Job summary

Bed Bath & Beyond in Dallas is seeking a senior branding and design leader to establish and evolve brand standards, mentor a team of designers and video editors, and direct creative concepting across marketing assets.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, plan photo and video shoots with the in-house studio, and stay ahead of home décor trends while driving revenue through design direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in graphic design or similar preferred
• Experience in retail brand creative design Graphic Design 5-10years
• Managing Designers 3 years
• Creative concepting
• Directing design work of others
• Graphic Design skills
• Photo art direction
• Video editing knowledge
• Knowledge of design principles
• Knowledge of design production workflows

Responsibilities

• Establish, evolve and enforce brand standards
• Lead team of creative designers and video editors to produce high-quality work that meets or exceeds business goals
• Lead seasonal concepting and production direction of marketing and promotional assets
• Mentor, coach, lead a team for maximum output and satisfaction
• Hire and retain top design talent
• Communicate effectively with cross functional partners and ensure project managent function is supporting production timelines
• Stay abreast of design trends in the home space and bring new ideas to the table quarterly
• Lead innovation in key revenue generating channels such as email through design direction
• Engage in hands-on design work as required to supplement team as needed
• Present ideas in group settings and/or to executives as needed
• Plan and Direct photo and video shoots with our in-house studio team as needed
