Job description

Art Director , Brand Innovation Lab, Telecommunication & Entertainment

Job ID: 2939870 | Amazon Advertising LLC

Amazon's Brand Innovation Lab is looking for a talented and passionate Art Director to create bespoke campaigns focused on Telecommunication and Entertainment clients in the US. You'll partner with creative directors, copywriters, designers, solutions managers, and producers to create first-class customer experiences, both on and offline, by innovating with the Amazon canvas (FireTV, Alexa, Twitch, Prime Video, etc.). You'll lead projects and own client relationships, focusing on creating work that benefits the end customer while pushing the creative envelope from brief to execution.

Key job responsibilities

From the initial concept to final launch, you will be tasked with delivering bold, insightful, and data-driven ideas that transform needs and constraints into customer-centric brand campaign strategies and solutions. You should excel in both concept development and execution, effectively articulating end-to-end experiences and translating that vision into high-quality deliverables. This may involve creating user interface designs for voice and screen, developing interaction models, building prototypes, producing video content, and crafting interactive advertising campaigns. In this role, you'll leverage data and insights to shape campaign strategies and concepts, design experiences, and create templates for innovative brand campaigns that address customer challenges both on and off Amazon platforms. The ideal candidate will be capable of delivering top-tier designs and exceptional art direction for campaigns across various Amazon touchpoints. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, and Figma is essential. We're seeking a conceptual art director with robust design skills and a strong grasp of UX design.

A day in the life
  1. Ideating on innovative experiences, both on and offline, within the teams dedicated to Entertainment, Toys, and Telco
  2. Presenting ideas to clients, their partner media agencies, and internal teams
  3. Elevating pitch decks with thoughtful and impactful design
  4. Working through creative messaging feedback with Legal and PR

About the team

Using different products and services within the Amazon canvas (custom landing pages on Amazon.com, Alexa, Twitch, Prime Video, TNF, etc.), we create campaigns that reach millions of Amazon customers across our digital channels and out in the real-world.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be data-driven and obsessed with the measurable impact of campaigns
  • Must have excellent presentation skills and interactive storytelling ability
  • Must have strong understanding of digital and social platforms, as well as their use within marketing

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • You are insightful and an innovative problem solver
  • You bring visual flair and conceptual excellence to your work, inspiring clients and team members to raise the creative bar
  • You tell stories that connect brands with customers in a meaningful way across different channels, creating work that's on strategy and delivers results
  • You regularly push beyond your comfort zone to stretch and improve yourself, never thinking, that's not my job
