Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ACDs, Creative Directors, Copywriters, Production Graphic Designers and others to create concepts
• Develop creative that resonates with target audiences and aligns to marketing goals
• Produce high-quality work for print, digital, social, video, and branding materials connected to campaigns
• Partner with ACDs and stakeholders to understand goals, feedback and vision
• Work with Copywriters to integrate art and copy into cohesive concepts
• Assist ACDs in developing shotlists and coordinate with photographers and vendors
• Maintain consistency and integrity across touchpoints by translating art direction into design
• Create channel-specific content to support performance and optimization
• Support concept presentations by articulating art decisions clearly
• Stay current on industry trends and new technologies to strengthen the product

Job description

In this onsite role in Plano, TX, you will help shape the visual direction behind a wide range of projects at CNMK Texas Properties, LLC. You will translate creative direction into practical art and design deliverables, partnering with creative and production teams to produce high-quality work across multiple formats.

As Art Director, you will support the development of concepts and ensure that execution stays aligned with marketing goals, creative strategy, and brand consistency. Your work will span channels and mediums, from print and digital to social media, video, and branding materials connected to Cinemarks creative campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ACDs, Creative Directors, Copywriters, Production Graphic Designers, and other team members to create innovative concepts through compelling visual storytelling.
• Develop creative that resonates with target audiences and aligns to overall marketing goals.
• Produce detailed, high-quality work for multiple formats including print, digital, social media, video, and branding materials connected to Cinemarks creative campaigns.
• Partner with ACDs, project stakeholders, and channel owners to understand project goals, feedback, and vision.
• Work closely with Copywriters to integrate art and copy into cohesive concepts and compelling creative experiences.
• Assist ACDs in developing shotlists and coordinate with photographers, videographers, and other outside vendors to create best-in-category content.
• Maintain consistency and integrity across all touchpoints by translating art direction into effective design execution while supporting a cohesive brand identity.
• Create content native to each channel, supporting performance and optimization as results are learned.
• Support concept presentations by articulating art and design decisions with clarity and authority.
• Stay current on industry trends, art styles, and new technologies that can strengthen the creative product.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a design or art direction role.
• BA in Advertising, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Mac-based Adobe Creative Cloud and AI-powered creative tools.
• Self-starter mindset with an upstart spirit suited to a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to translate conceptual direction and constructive feedback, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Portfolio demonstrating breakthrough art direction for creative campaigns.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
