The Consumer Experience (CX) team is responsible for the end-to-end product experience for fans looking to discover, buy, and sell tickets to their favorite live events through our web and mobile platforms.

As the Art Director, you’ll shape how StubHub is seen, felt, and remembered. You’ll define and evolve our brand system—from strategy to craft—bringing it to life across product, marketing, and every fan touchpoint. With a sharp eye and bold vision, you’ll lead brand expression within the product while bridging efforts across channels to create a unified, emotionally resonant experience. You’ll both set direction and get hands-on—partnering with designers, product managers, engineers, marketers, and more to scale our brand with intention and impact.

This is a hybrid work opportunity located in New York, NY. We have a 3-day in-office and 2-day remote schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Define and lead the vision for StubHub’s brand identity—building emotional connection with fans and inspiring excitement around live events
  • Own key elements of the design system related to brand expression, including illustration, photography, imagery, and motion
  • Partner with product and content designers, engineers, and PMs to deliver emotionally resonant product experiences that reflect and elevate brand
  • Act as a brand steward across the company—ensuring consistency, coherence, and scalability of brand assets across product, marketing, and partner channels
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact brand moments across the customer journey, taking initiatives from concept to execution
  • Leverage qualitative insights and A/B testing to inform design decisions and iterate toward more effective brand expression
  • Translate brand value into business value—clearly communicating design rationale and impact to non-design stakeholders
  • Ensure creative quality and momentum across multiple projects, maintaining high standards while navigating pace
  • Contribute to a culture of craft and collaboration, offering guidance and inspiration to elevate the work of others

What You've Done

  • 8+ years of professional experience with communication, product, or branding design
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic design, Interaction Design, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
  • Portfolio showcasing direct contributions to brand identity and visual systems, with mastery of craft across multiple creative mediums.
  • Proven ability to define, document, and scale brand systems that support both product and marketing use cases
  • Strong knowledge of iOS, Android and web design
  • Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative product development process

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.

Salary Range

$150,000—$220,000 USD
