Job description

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Art Director to join our biotech client. This is a 3-5 month engagement, starting in early February. This is a remote role; however, Pacific Time Zone candidates are highly preferred. You will play a key role in bringing innovative concepts to life for various marketing campaigns and brand experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Creative Process: Drive the creative direction for projects, from initial concept development and brainstorming to final execution.
• Develop Compelling Concepts: Translate abstract ideas into visually stunning and impactful creative solutions.
• Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with project managers, copywriters, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Mentor & Guide: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers (if applicable).
• Present & Communicate: Confidently present design work to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience as an Art Director within a fast-paced agency or in-house creative team at a large enterprise.
• Proven ability to lead the creative process from concept to completion, with a strong emphasis on ideation and concept development.
• Portfolio showcasing 3-4 successful projects, highlighting your role in developing innovative and original creative solutions.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.
• Background in pharmaceutical or technology industries is a plus, but not required.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $65–$75/hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in a 401k plan with company match (if applicable).
