Job summary

In this course, students continue self-directed inquiry, refine goals and the portfolio, and begin production on their thesis with a formal self-evaluation at semester end.

Required: a master’s degree or BFA with relevant professional achievement; a strong portfolio; and excellent interpersonal skills. MFA and college teaching experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree that demonstrates expertise for teaching VISU 350 or a BFA with equivalent experience
• Professional portfolio demonstrating skills and experience in the curricular area
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach VISU 350: Art and Design Process II to adjunct students.
• Guide students through self-directed inquiry, portfolio development, and thesis prep; provide a final self-evaluation.
• Review and provide feedback on student work and progress.
