Job summary

Raleigh Radiology is seeking an ARRT (MR) registered MRI technologist to join our Knightdale Imaging Center. The technologist will perform MRI studies for outpatients, coordinate patient care, and maintain professional standards.

Responsibilities include following established protocols, engaging with patients, and documenting relevant information. The role reports to the MRI Supervisor/MRI Manager and may involve on-site or remote supervision by a radiologist.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or commensurate experience with ARRT registration.
• Experience in a busy office or hospital is preferred.
• AHA BLS certification required or within first 90 days of employment; continuous BLS certification required.
• Registered RT(R) with ARRT at time of hire; MRI registration (RT(R)(MR)) preferred upon hire.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform MR studies for outpatients.
• Coordinate patient care.
• Maintain professional standards and follow established protocols, policies and procedures.
• Engage with patients, assess their condition and document information.
• Work under the direction of the radiologist; may include on-site or remote supervision.
