Position Profile: Tours and Events Coordinator
Department: Arrowhead Events
Reports to: Sr. Manager of Tours and Events
Status: Salary, Non-Exempt
JOB SUMMARY: The Tours and Events Coordinator is a full-time position within Arrowhead Events. Arrowhead Events is responsible for making Arrowhead Stadium an entertainment destination by attracting and developing concerts and sporting events. This position will take a lead role as the coordinator for the stadium tour program, Chiefs Training Camp and other events with tasks including, but not limited to, those detailed below.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Hiring, training and scheduling of Chiefs Training Camp staff
- Overseeing Chiefs Training Camp logistics through the management of meetings and communication with both staff and guests
- Supervising Arrowhead stadium tour guide team, including coordinating schedule and booking process
- Developing tour guide training materials and scripts
- Creating and developing new ideas and events to generate additional revenue for the tour program
- Handling the ticketing and scheduling systems (Timetap/Archtics), along with addressing customer inquiries and feedback
- Managing budgets for both Chiefs training camp and the tour program, including staffing, supplies, and event costs
- Supporting other entities within Arrowhead events, including corporate events, event sales, and Chiefs game day

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in event operations/planning/management.
- Bachelor’s degree or better from an accredited university or college in the field of business, marketing, sports management, facility management, etc.
- Demonstrated knowledge of event industry terminology, facility capabilities, operational procedures, event coordination and event-related services.
- Must be detail oriented and be able to multi-task.
- Must have good communication and time management skills.
- Must be able to establish professional relationships with staff and clientele.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation and Internet software.
- Must be available to work varied days and hours, on weekends/holidays and in the summer heat.
